In order to give an adequate grade, both side of the coin would need to be shown here. We could then give you an approximate value. For this date, unless it is high mint state, it will not be worth more than a couple of dollars as it is a common coin with no varieties. Here is a great website for Canadian coins that will give you more information: http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-pri...nt-1920-1936

Also, I suggest posting this coin in the "Canadian Grading Section" to get a better response

The first place I look on George V coins is the base of the crown on the Obverse and the tips of the leaves on the Reverse. If you look at the base of the crown on your coin, you see a flat where the detail has been worn down by circulation. A mint state coin for this date would have full detail in all of the jewels. I suggest buying a "Charlton Standard Catalogue" if you don't already have one. You can find this at any major book store or even the library. There is a great guide on how to grade Canadian coins, it would be very helpful to you.
You coin I would grade around VF30. I can't say for sure as your pictures are a little fuzzy. This coin has a book value of around 5$ in this grade.

This individual has posted two different threads about this... The other named "Need to know a price on this coin"
As I said before VF and $1.50 is more than a fair price for it
