Regarding dateless Buffalo, there are ways to determine certain dates based on various clues. There are a number of members here who can help you identify dateless Buffalo. If you can't ID the coin, then there are other ways to lift the date off the coin, but doing so will ruin it. That said, I've been putting together a set of pickled nickels. Fun finding out the dates. I pickled two this weekend; common 1916 and 1917 nickels. But neat to find 100 years after they were coined. Report this Post to the Staff
