What's going on coin Community just wondering if you guys can help me out for better understanding of this. My 1987 quarter and the wording Liberty is a lot thicker/bolder and different texture and then all the regular quarters just looking for some and light and understanding the why. Look at that the Y&T is compared to the other quarter

You cannot accurately compare designs from different years because minor revisions of the design are typically done every few years.
