It appears to be partially a MAD. Does the reverse appear normal?

to CCF. Looks like a MAD=misaligned die. Does the ring go all the way around the edge? Seems to be a "railroad rim". Need a better pic of reverse to tell about the possible doubling.

Welcome to the forum. You've got an interesting mint error. MAD but perhaps more. Rotated die? The extended rim appears centered at 10:30 on the obverse which means it should center at 7:30 from the reverse perspective. Looks more like 6:00 but shadows may be playing tricks.

Michael, to learn about the correct method to clean coins, or better term would be preserve coins, do a search on here for acetone, there are lots of threads about the proper use.

to get your coin graded professionally would cost you a lot of money and I do not think you would recoup all of that for this coin. The error is fairly obvious, and not faked. after using the acetone, and taking better pictures you could easily sell this on ebay.

Not worth having it graded/slabbed. Value under $5. For sure 2x2 worthy. Nice find.
