I was reading a Numismatic News from back in February. There was a dealer that was offering various coins in rolls. Among them, he included a listing of a roll of 40 (not 50) copper-nickel Indian cents.

Presumably the CN cents are thicker than the bronze cents, how else could there be fewer coins in what is (presumably) the same wrapper?

When I read the title I was wondering how someone could
put 50 coins in a roll/tube. I see that was not the case.

As posted above ... much thicker

Tis must be the correct answer. Anyway, don't see rolls of CN cents around very often these days.
