I am sorry I am not able to produce pictures, but I have come across some neat international notes. In any event, they not only show dates in the 1700s on them, they just plain look old.

They say things to the effect that "I promise to pay the bearer on demand, three pence, by the order of the corporation of the city of hunun oct 26 1790.

I have four and all four say something different, but all have the same thing in common. "I owe an amount to a person on said date"

I see names such as J. Dole, (printed by tiffiany & wands)
Printed by A. Stoddard
Printed by C. R. & G. webster, albany
THen the last says T. Prince

With being so personal could they be cheques?

In any case very neat to have them dating back so long.

I think they are right as well. I have one similar to that, but not that old. Mine is from England in the 1800's. It does have a very cool design on it though!
