Hello,

Opinions on the grade of this 54g giant?

I'm thinking VF-XF with some rim damage. NGC lists this as being worth somewhere between 210-560 USD, is that about right?

Many thanks!

Those are serious rim nicks. Did someone try to use it as a cartwheel?

I think I would call it VF, but the rim damage will definitely affect value.

The two pence should be graded at no more than F-VF because it is a recessed design. Check auctions from the UK and you will find many examples correctly graded. Even by US grading standards the coin is not close to EF.

This one was EF
