These resemble 'concentric lathe lines' but are they?..this coin appears to be scarce.
The lines are seen even under the K.G. in the water in the last pic.

I don't believe lathe lines, but I don't have a better answer either.

Could it be coin machine lines? I have seen quite a few that have those but usually its almost a full circle.

Sure looks like lathe lines... very odd though (but certainly looks legit)...

I'm not sure what else to call them if not lathe lines. I just searched my small hoard of 65s but didn't find anymore although I did find something else that I will post in a separate thread shortly.
