The hair above the ear appears to be flattened in your image and there appears to be a nick on the base of the neck on the sellers images that isn't there on your image. Are you certain that this is the same coin that was listed ?

I have the coin at 64. I had considered 58, but the fields did not look like a circulated coin.

Are you certain that this is the same coin that was listed ? I checked the coin and I see the nick. It is not showing well on the photo. You had me a little worried for a moment.

What would it cost you to send it in? If it comes back as MS65 you have made some money. There is a huge bump up if it is MS65.

I know it has nothing to do with the question, but I don't think these are the same coin either. Maybe it's the lighting or angle or something, but I see a lot of differences in the small marks. The big thing I notice is on the reverse rim above "STATES". Doesn't appear on the original pics like on your pics. Same for the "E" in UNITED. Hard to tell without seeing it in hand, though.

@scstrawn - My photography needs work. When I view the coin I see marks that I can identify on the sellers photos. I understand and at first I wondered the same thing. Thanks for your (and everyone's) concern.

@Cascade - I am pretty confident this is uncirculated but I am not sure whether MS64 or 65 - makes a huge difference. I am not quite ready to remove it from the holder until 100% sure I am keeping it.

All things considered, I've decided I'd prefer the first coin.
Final answer.

I'm not sure that makes more than a 63 if it is not circulated. with the price jump from 64 to 65, the drastic decrease in POP count and the examples from HA and other sites on historic 65s, this coin does not seem to have those goods.
So its now a question of 63 to 64 IMO. I am looking at HA and others in PCGS that are 64 and its tough to judge your photography to theirs as their photos are superior due to the equipment they use so I don't know if we can quite call it by the pics.
Do you have any 64s or lower slabbed in your possession? How does this coins measure up to those for luster, bag hits etc...?

The hair above the ear and what looks like slight circulation rubbing is telling me this will grade au58. It's definitely a tricky au64 slider but with the given evidence I'm saying au58. This is San fran so a full strike is the norm and because of the hair and breast feathers it will be highly scrutinized. Especially being a 92s as well. That said, my opinion could change if we get decent pics out of that dreaded plastic film. There is no way any of us can speak with any certainty looking at it through a 2x2 Not trying to be a downer here just being pragmatic. If you decide to take it out post pics

And that's definitely the same coin guys. Just different lighting angles that are hiding and exaggerating different marks. 100% same coin

Agree same coin - the short vertical mark in front of Liberty's nose bridge is the marker for me. I would keep it and submit - it's a good shot 65.
