So, why does this Jefferson look like "jaws" from 007?
It's weird and creepy and I've never seen ANYTHING like it

Just looks like post strike damage with (?) to alter the coin. It was struck like that. The outside edge of the mouth looks like die flow setting in on that area. But again, that would be a die event, not the way the die was created. PSD
