I just purchased this coin on ebay for 52.45 USD total. It was listed as BIN at $250 or bid opening at $50. I was the only bidder. The seller does not offer refunds, so I feel like I took a gamble. Comments would be most appreciated.

Let's just say you would not get that type of Quality in England for 37Pounds ( same as fifty USD). Nice coin !
BTW OT .......totally irrelevant if seller says no refunds. With ebay and or Paypal the buyer always wins.

I appreciate your feedback. I have always thought that e-bay favored buyers. But your comment still puzzles me. Let's say hypothetically you receive a coin that you can see is a forgery. How could e-bay get your money back, short of you providing documentation?

I tried getting a refund from ebay before but not for coins, the amount was not much about $30 but they make the
process really long and tedious, just to wear you out so you might give up.

I have gotten refunds on coins that were never sent. Actually one that was eventually sent, which I then repayed for. My point was that if you get a fake and the seller doesn't take returns, you may have to somehow prove it. Now I'm just looking for reassurance. I feel more confident that I made a good purchase after Pacificoin's reply. Perhaps the seller would've gotten more bites if he did take returns. So maybe this worked to my advantage.

Thanks for commenting. I do see the rim damage and a bit of noticeable wear in center of crown.

@Otto do not worry you did quite well. There is a profit in it for sure. In zen gland that quality at a coin fair would be far higher than what you paid. Cheers!
