I suspect the typo is putting 8 instead of 6 on the label...

So so easy to bash ICCS. The coin is pretty much VG 8 . An obvious typo on the holder. We can all show examples of misattributed holders from just about any grading service, especially PCGS and NGC. People collect them!
I have said it in the past and will say it again. ICCS has done far more good for the hobby in Canada , than bad since 1986.

I'm with you PaCoin on this one too.

So very easy to bash them, but try grading 100's of coins, day after day after day.

I used to grade diamonds and the reason I accept and understand some errors is twofold: one...it's next to impossible to grade the same item exactly the way you graded it 6 months ago and two.....you can never get away with any mistakes as all your work is written down and nothing is verbal. Silly typos and the odd misgrade are visible in black and white for everyone to see and chastise.

Over the long haul, I think we should give them an excellent grade in how they have conducted themselves.

Remember that ICCS has done the Canadian coin market a great service in providing a strong standard in grading direction and consistency.
