Just curious as these have a building on the reverse that could potentially produce amazing doubling like on the Homestead quarters. Has anyone found or heard anything so far?

No images coop, just inquiring if anyone has found anything mentionable in this release. I get the D minted issues out here, I'm sure if anything were to pop up, it would be in the Philly coins. We'll see.

Looks like the coin was stained on both sides.

I found an interesting area on the lower left border of the right facing balcony window, not the ding on the edge of the building, but right next to the window (Philadelphia). I reference pics on line and I do not believe the anomaly is part of the design. I could be wrong as I do not have a reference in hand. I examined it closely. The area is raised an part of the coin. May be post strike, but the coin seems almost BU. What do you all think?

Here is the mint image from their site enlarged: Doesn't seem to be on that image. You might want to submit that one to John Wexler if you find others that don't look like that?

I just looked at all of my harpers ferries and there is nothing like that. Hoppyg, I think you might have the first harpers Ferry DD. Congrats

Looks like it copies the height of the left side of the window on the right. The opposite side is showing a bit a the right side of the left window.

Nice hoppyg, hope it'll be the first DDR for this one. I haven't come across any of these quarters yet.

I heard back from Mr. Wexler. He is having me send in the coin for inspection. He cannot guarantee the coin is a DDR by pics only, but if it is, he may use the coin in the varities column of Coin World

Thanks Coop, Dustin, CC & Slamn, I am sending off the coin tomorrow. I will let you all know what I here. I would have never looked at the coin and saw the anomaly if it wasn't for all the knowledge shared in these forum. Thank you guys for helping a fellow coin collector learn the ropes.
