I'm going through my parents' old coins and trying to determine their approximate value so that I can divvy them up fairly among their grandchildren.

What kind of grade would you give this coin? The photos show the same coin on different backgrounds.
Thanks in advance for your input and help.

From the images presented, it appears to be a circulated example in the XF-AU range.

In terms of value, it is likely in the range of $15 to $20.

Concur with commems expert input ...

My eye sees by the photographs provided an XF-AU example of this common classic silver commemorative half ...

This coin is readily available in the market is this grade ... and as such is not worth much more than the values commems provided.
