I like to search a seller name before posting a new topic about one (or more) of their listings. Many times I get 0 results, which is fine because it means they have not been mentioned by name before.

But frequently, I get a bunch of results that make no sense to me. By that I mean, it may return one VALID result, but tell me there are 8 results. In regards to the other 7 results:

a) When going to the search result link provided, there is no mention of the seller for which I searched.
b) In the search results page (see below) the text below each link is basically IDENTICAL for all seven results (not all 7 results shown in image).

Are these invalid results, or am I missing something?

Those pages are coming up because when Google's last indexing happened the title was in the recent topics list.

Use the forum search function for sellers and you should be accurate.

Oh, OK. That makes sense but it makes the Google results inaccurate.

So, it looks like I have to search one forum at a time? That is inconvenient. After a while the counterfeit posts are moved, so older topics won't be found unless I search the current counterfeit forum, and wherever any previous mentions of that seller had their topics moved.

Edit:
If I use
http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/search.asp
it will find the posts I am looking for.

If I use the search box on a specific forum, it only searches that forum.

I think I have it now.

It searches however you pick the selections on the page I linked. If you use the box at the top left of the forum page, not the one in the side bar, int only searches that forum.

In the Google search, I think I can just ignore the results that have icons on the left. The results I want seem to not have icons on the left of each individual result.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. So, in short, don't use the search box, use the search button at the top instead (for this particular purpose)?

It turns out this is not true.

Use the SEARCH FORM to get better results. I am not sure what the advantage, if any, is to the google search.

Depending on what it is you are searching, the Google search will be a lot faster.
