Probably EF-45. It has a shot at an AU-50 ICCS holder, if the lustre is stronger than it looks in the photos. There is wear definitely wear on this piece. Incompleteness in the strike will generally only show on the very highest points and in small amounts. Look at the leaves on the reverse and there are many, larger flat areas.

My pleasure. I posted the 1882H before in this forum but it's been too long I think, I can't locate it so I'll repost the pics here. The first 2 are from a scan, the others are photos.

Just to save some comments, the white you see in and around letters, numbers, leaves etc is not from a cleaning. It is the silver from the coin as the toning doesn't go all the way up to there. Just like on the 1936 above around the diecrack if you look at the very bottom of the wreath, it's like that. I thought it was paste residue from a past cleaning but under a digital microscope, I can clearly see the silver coin and No residue. At least I'm 99% sure that's what it is. It's always good to leave some room for doubt.

The 1936 pictured appears to have light cabinet friction on both sides has been retoning in a paper holder with high sulphur content. Touch weak for strike. ICCS 50 NGC 55.

There is something definitely not right with that 1882 H. Without seeing it in hand it looks like it has been cleaned and artificially retoned . Or some kind of environmental problems. Best way get it holdered by NGC and crossed by ICCS. I would love to see the results when done and be proven wrong. Very high grade Vickie if it comes back straight graded.
