Hi All,
I have been buying for some time now older silver world coins off e-bay from one particular seller. I know he is legit and so is his coins but I wanted to check out other auctions to have a few other go to sellers if this one doesn't have what I am looking for.
So can any of my CCF family give me some leads of e-bay sellers who I can trust and not worry about counterfeit coins.
Examples of what I am collecting is Old silver Russian Kopek coins, Old Silver Chinese coins, Japanese Old Silver Coins etc etc.
Thanks ST

Aspen coins was the name I was thinking of when I read this too. I had two links for them in my ebay saved sellers but only the aspencoins2 seems to be active at the moment anyway. I have had good purchasing experiences with the aspencoins2 seller currently on ebay. Nice coins and better prices and no issues to report on my end.

Our own Jdmern always seems to have a large inventory of world coins. I believe he was recently honored by ebay as one of its premier and prestigious sellers as well!!

My experience with aspencoins has been negative. I reported to them, on more than one occasion, about counterfeit 8 reales they had for auction. One time the response back questioned my knowledge of what I reported. Later, I noticed that I was blocked from bidding on their auctions.

I like the die break on that 15 kopek!
Fyi however, it's CuNi, not silver. Always gotta be careful.
Have you tried the collections & lots section? I used to lurk there, and you can sometimes get some super deals.

Silver Tracker, I'm not knocking the seller you've been dealing with. But he is a very established seller with a lot of followers. There's no doubt he tends to get a premium price for his coins. I would recommend that you be a bit more adventuresome, and look for better deals. Fakes are a problem, but unless you're buying more expensive coins, I would be more price-conscious. This has worked well for me in buying world coins. Some coins are heavily counterfeited, though, and you should use this site and other resources to educate yourself.
