I just bought some coins from a seller on ebay that had like a 3k positive rating(100%) I thought to myself Wow! how is that possible?
There are some people out there that would'nt be happy with any transaction. Like the ferobbins nut. So I receive the coins and no problems at all. Being the buyer I usually did'nt leave feedback until the seller did. ( In the early ebay days if I left feedback before the seller did sometimes the seller never left feedback for me) So it dawned on me why the perfect rating. I assume this seller held back on submitting feedback in case he received a negative rating he could still retaliate? Is this improper? Can someone comment? Or am I just way to suspicious?

Rest in Peace

I've seen several sellers with 100% feedback score after hundreds or thousands of transactions. With a skeptical eye, I check their feedback anyway if I'm interested in a coin; some have maintained 100% FB score by having any negatives mutually withdrawn. If I want to dig deeper, I check with ToolHaus http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs which lists all feedback which is not positive, including mutual withdrawals.

In a few instances, the seller has a perfect score with no neutrals or negatives. I consider them extremely good and extremely lucky sellers. As you mentioned, sooner or later, most sellers run into a buyer who just won't be happy no matter what the seller does.
