Looking for some opinions on this coin please! Looks like a weak strike or Struck Through Grease on obverse and reverse. It is thinner than a normal cent and the rim rounded, not flat.

This pic shows how much thinner the rim is.

The weight is within tolerances. Copper plated steel lists as 2.35 grams.

So I think it must have been struck out of collar judging by the poorly formed rim and weak strike but maybe someone has a different opinion or can confirm mine.
Thanks!

The one in question is a steel planchet while the one with square edge is zinc, aside from the week strike, they're all like that.zinc planchet thick, steel planchet is thin.

Good call Alan. You are right. But what I can't photograph is that the rim isn't flat around the circumference, it is rounded.

The steel ones are thinner and the edge is rounded. I have a weak struck steel one too.

Not broadstruck. Weak strikes also can include weaker collar strikes...
