This isn't my area of expertise, but my gut tells me that you could probably find a buyer for this. Also, for what it's worth, even though the yen has existed since 1870, the aftermath of WWII killed its value. What might have been a $100 bond in 1940 would have a face value of 95 cents today. twinkinator Valued Member United States 137 Posts	Posted 07/21/2016 10:31 am I don't own any books for this kind of thing, but I have a WWII bond similar to this one. All of the WWII bonds I've ever seen have a similar style to my bond, so I would guess yours is a different type of bond or was issued before the war. I may be very wrong as I'm no expert on the subject, but that's my guess. Report this Post to the Staff
