I was posting the name of a seller

4-t-h-i-s-n-t-h-a-t (no hyphens, and no apostrophe)

and the board software inserts an apostrophe between the n and the t -- Why?

example:
4thisn'that

To correct a more often misspelled word than spelled correctly.

Is there a way to override the correction? Such as, perhaps, preceding the word the software is incorrectly correcting with a character or set of characters. Maybe !! or ^^

Why not? What word has isn't inside it? I'm not going to let it be misspelled every day for a random ebay id.

The user ID I specified above has it.

Could your software search for (blank) isn (no apostorphe) t, or isn (no apostophe) t (blank), or blanks on both ends?

It may never come up again, so probably not worth the effort.

When I first posted this, I didn't realize that the user ID had those specific four letters in it.

How did you get it to not insert the apostrophe (even though I can't)?

Because Staff can override. If you put blanks around it then it will not catch it at the beginning and ends of sentences.

Staff has it's privileges!

isn't that right?

If it is the first word, it de-capitalizes it....

AHHHHHH! CODING!

I had to do stuff like this for a CS class. These nuances got very annoying, so I feel you Bobby.
