I thought this coin I found in a bank roll was an impaired proof, given its mirror-like surfaces, the sharpness and thickness of the coin edge, and the line along the edge suggesting it had been in a plastic case at some point. So, if it were an impaired proof it would be something like "PF-XX*", where XX is less than 60 on the Sheldon scale. But, no proofs were made in 1967. Does one use the language of business-strike grades for NIFC coins that are not proofs but not business strikes? Thanks for the help.
Thanks, everyone! Very helpful. Oddly, there were four of these SMS 1967 nickels in the box. The one pictured above was the cleanest. The rims are quite distinctive!
