For a while now I've been looking at the metal container at the recycling station, and more specifically to the side of it. Occationally there's coins lying there, and by my luck, they're out of reach. Last time I looked there was a Zambian 10 Ngwee coin just waiting to be scrapped, a coin I don't have. And the fool I'd be asking the staff to help me out

Has this ever happened to you?

By me, people throw piles of coins in with other metals when they take them to a recycling place.

The recycling station here has full 40m³ containers for metal and they're filled from the top. No chance to go in there and search for coins.

I'd personally be opportunistic enough to ask for a hand in getting the coin, really. And it's a shame that people just literally throw away money. It makes me sad.
