Hi everybody,
this is my first message in this forum.
I need your help for identifying a strange coin (or token, or fake, or whatever it is) which looks to me completely incomprehensible.

Unknown-Strange-Coin-Or-Whatever-It-Is...

After getting crazy and thinking it was a Punic or Celtic ancient coin, now I think that the the figure on the reverse (right) could be Garuda, the bird-like creature of Hindu mythology, which is often depicted on ancient coins from India and Indo-China.

Anyway, I don't want to bias you too much: please just let me know what you think about this piece, independently from my hypotheses.

Recognizing the alphabet used in writings, for example, would be already of great help...

Thanks a lot in advance!
Cheers,

Davide

That doesn't look like an ancient coin to me. It seems too round, and the wear doesn't look like centuries of handling.

You're right, thanks.
In fact, my main suspicion is about a possible fake.
It looks strange, in my opinion, to see that nobody has said, at least, hat kind of characters are used for inscriptions...
