As a guy whose wife works in a bank as a teller, I'd probably be in a pretty good position to get rolls of coins, but it's never held any type of allure for me, so I don't pursue it. Additionally, however, she tells me how the bank she works for actively discourages the practice, even among their "better" customers.

Lately, however, there's been "a sweet little old man" who has sort of won some of the tellers over by bringing them flowers on a regular basis. Little potted plants, little vases of flowers, little sprays in paper cones, etc. He doesn't discriminate between the tellers who work with him and those who don't. When he comes in the bank they all get flowers. He claims he has relatives who own a flower shop and these are just the extras or those that are nearing the end of their visual appeal.

Me...? I'm just waiting to see an article in the local newspaper about flowers disappearing from neighborhood cemetaries.

lol, of course he has leftover flowers via relatives and of course the first people to think about is the tellers at your local bank to give them to. The question is: does he actually get coin rolls because of it?

There's a really cute teller at one of the branches I get my coins from... she is definitely worthy of some flowers.
