I sure am glad I used the search function before I posted this as I felt sure that the question of a fold or not had to do with the rim of the coin. Who'd of thought it had to do with a dress strap?

For NSF varieties, the 'I' of 'DEI' points between two rim denticles while in the SF the I points to a denticle. So based on that, your coins are:

1953 NSF
1954 SF
1955 SF
