Hello Everyone,
My name is Brentyn and this will be my first posting here on Coin Community Family. I loved reading all your posts over the last few years and thought id try and start one to fuel my thirst for answers.I recently stumbled across a 1921-D
Morgan silver dollar on
ebay and it was freshly graded by NGC as MS64! which is a fairly decent grade for the year and mintage figure. To my surprise it turned out to be a VAM-1G with the second S in States having the die break. It seems to be a mid-late die state, the break itself on the S is not filled in yet. Still has all 3 spikes connecting.and the tail leading off the S. I was just wondering if any fellow collectors had an MS64 VAM-1G? I have done a ton of research on the coin and found a bit of information but I was not able to find anything on a censeus on the
VAM 1G. The only thing I could find was that only 24 uncirculated VAM-1G have been reported. with that being said does anyone have a clue to how many of this
VAM has been reported total? Circulated or Uncirculated? I have been watching
ebay and a few other sites to see if any arise and all that I come up was a few AU coins and a few very obviously cleaned ones? Would anyone happen to know the value of a
VAM as this? Kind Regards, Brentyn Ive been trying to upload photos but the files are to large, will keep trying
