GodWeTrust New Member United States 41 Posts	Posted 03/02/2008 6:02 pm Maybe this is too obvious, but I hate to assume anything. You know. Anyway, the US Mint sells rolls of uncirulated coins. But, aren't they the same rolls of uncirculated coins that my bank has? And I can get them there for face value? What gives? thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

I know some people think because the roll paper tube they come in "WITH THE MINT" LOGO makes them more valuable however in my opinion that is not the case. THE OTHER BRUCE. If you live anywhere west of the Mississippi, your chances of getting a fresh bank roll of new Philly coins is about nil due to the distribution of coinage. For some people the only way to obtain coins from the Mint on the opposite side of the country is to buy those rolls from the Mint. Report this Post to the Staff

Or get a friend on the other side of the country to help you out with getting them. I know for 25 dollars worth of coins at the mint they sell them for 35?!?! then 5 to ship them thats forty for 1 roll!
