I don't have any other 64's to compare it to and info online is spotty at best.

I moved your post to the correct section.

A 1964 Quarter should weigh 6.3 grams

A modern Quarter would weight 5.7 grams

Has the look/luster of silver to me, but hard to tell from pics. 1964 quarter not likely faked, but anything's possible these days. Just for the grins, check for a Type C reverse.

It'd be a novelty to me to see 1964-D fake quarters. But just get a scale and see what happens.
Rest in Peace

Take a pencil and a popsicle stick. Take your 1964 quarter and another silver (pre 1964) quarter and place the popsicle stick on the pencil (pencil is lying down on the table). Put one quarter on each end of the popsicle stick and balance like a miniature seesaw. Mark where the two quarters rest on the stick. Remove the second silver quarter, replace with a clad quarter, the 1964 side should go down.
If you don't have a second silver quarter, do the same, but start with two clad quarters, make them balance, mark positions, then replace one with your 1964 quarter. It should make that end of the seesaw go down.
