It's a bit beat up but I'm happy that I found it

Awesome find! And in change no less - pretty amazing given it's been traveling about for 87 years.

I acquired the same wheat many years back in the same scenario :)
I myself found a few wheats from change-back this past week.

Congrats! I have collected on and off for 40+ years...this and that and finding a Wheat penny in change is what got me back into collecting again after a break of several years.

It's always a good day when you find a wheatie in change - especially a pre-1940 specimen. Congrats!

I got one in change too today, but yours is a much better date than my 1957. Not that yours is really worth more than a few cents, but as uncommon as getting wheats in change is these days, ones from the 20s are even rarer.

Anything pre-1930 in Wheats is awesome. ...so much harder to find than the much more common 30's, 40's, & 50'S !

Gratz ! --

Got this one in change at Walmart today.
This coin has been somewhere for about 97 years, until it ended up at Walmart!
What is more strange is that I have critiqued pocket change and several $100 bags of cents in the early 1960's, and have never found an Indian Head cent, even though they were not yet 97 years old in the 60's!

A F12 example.
It may be not worthy removing the green goo on the coin. 1929 is quite common.
