I would grade it a very nice XF-45. There is light even wear on the high points of the hair, cheaak/jaw area, and the ear. The reverse shows some wear on the shield and talons/arrows/olive branch areas. This series is notorious for weakly struck coins, but I think it is wear...I have been wrong before :) A nice looking coin from those pictures though ! Did you find that one in a roll ? or purchase it as the DDO ?

I found this in a roll. I had about 40 74d's to look thru and this one was near the middle of the group. I had 2 others I wasn't sure about and set back with this one to recheck. After looking closer this one was pretty straight forward. The other 2 were just normal coins.

What amazes me is when I was looking thru my 10x loupe I could see the RUS pretty good but after looking at the pictures I'm amazed at how strong the doubling is. Even the T's show up as doubled. That S is really strong.
