Some Problems With Dark Coin

From few weeks I try to do some macro of coins for my ebay store. Problem is not all coins want to cooperate with me

For example photos taken "from the hand" in daylight, without a tripod.

The second coin have about 14 mm diameter - its really dark and terribly hard to take a picture. What I could do ?

I can't see what the problem is here. The second picture shows all the necessary detail. I am not sure what sort of look you are going for but if you want to make the coin look lighter than it is you could run into the issue that a buyer will claim the coin was "not as described" when they receive it.

If you need to adjust levels, postprocessing software like DPP is your friend. As long as the original image is not over or under exposed you can do a lot with the image.
