I just noticed. This is a RDV-006 die, not the RDV-007 die it should have been. Not a RDV-005. So the proof hub must have be a RDV-006? Never thought of that before. The image of the initials made me think on that a bit.

dbrablec - nice collection there - the only other one I have is a 2000P that I found a couple of months ago. Did you read coops comment on this as far as the reverse dies? If you wouldn't mind maybe you can put up a post with images of your reveres's so we can see what RDV's your coins have. Would be interesting to see. Thanks

Is the value different on the 005 vs 006 for the 1998 WAM? John1

No. There is no 005 for 1998. Those dies were mostly retired early in 1988. That is why we look for the RDV-006 on that year. They had to use the dies early that year. Just the RDV-006 ^ 007 were used in the 1989. The 006 is the wrong one for that year. It is a year variety.

Thanks Dustin - I was actually happily surprised that I found it. I was going through a bank roll that had mostly 1970's in it and then there it was. You doing okay with HS?

Yes it is doing good. Harder than middle school. I made the soccer team so between school, homework, practice, and games, it won't be a lot with coins. I try to get it in at night. When I get my coin back from James Wiles, I will resurrect the thread about it. But thanks for asking about high school. I hope your kids are doing as well as I am. That might change though as the year progresses

Glad to hear it, my youngest son was on the soccer team before we moved here to FL. Talk about exercise - I was tired just watching all of them running up and down the field. It's a lot of fun though for the whole family. Good luck with the team. So far so good I got 2 happy boys right now so that makes me happy.

Nice find CC! Quote: not worth much I disagree. It has great value for a coin intended to be worth one cent.
