Hi, I would like to know if this 1982 cent is 1-DO-002, or is this just a worn die for the common 1982 Lincoln Cent? Thank you!

Yours is one of the normal cents with very slight MD on some devices. There is also a lot of wear on the LIBERTY area. The devices are normal sized. (even the reversed ones) But on the 1982P-1DO-002 the devices are even larger. That is why I made a side by side of a normal Large date copper coin for this year and the DDO:

On hub doubling it enlarges the size of the devices. This year has a lot of collectors not realizing that the devices are larger than other years to begin with. Then add hub doubling into the factor, then you can see them better side by side. Hope this helps.

Thanks COOP!

The images are mirrored because my microscope that I use on my mac, mirrors the image, it's a bummer.

If you had Photoshop, you could flip the images horizontal and straighten them out.

If you do an internet search for software for your microscope, I would think there would be a program that allows you to change the settings. It may already be in the software you have installed, you just need to find the settings page and change it.
