I took some close up pics of the 5/5 Variety Silver
Dollar I recently picked up. It is a neat repunch with
doubling clear on the tail and horizontal top bar end and
top of the bar.

Thanks for this JimmyD, just looking at Charlton 2012 and
noting the 4 Reverse types. This is definitely, as you say,
a Rev.-004 Repunched 5/5, RP2.

i think although minor....it's easily a 5/5/5/5..

edited to add: I have an example too and I gotta say, excellent job photographing the repunching..it is TOUGH!

also, there is I believe a charlton reverse with some grass variety in front of the canoe or something..this RP 5 variety is the same reverse.

I have that grass in front of the canoe.
Will take some pics.

Tool marks in a tuft of grass pattern.

Was looking with my loupe and saw the lines.
