Weird Looking £2 Coin/ Fake? - Coin Community Forum

It has a silver colouring compared to the usual goldish colouring of a normal £2 coin and seems to be slightly heavier. It has no writing on the outside edge and the lettering on the faces stand out more than usual. Very unusual and doesn't look like a normal fake Report this Post to the Staff

Not a very good one, as you say, but hey, from the counterfeiter's point of view, a counterfeit coin only has to work once. They've been appearing there the past couple of years.
