You have me . First off it would be a mis-stamped or mis-minted not misprint, currency is printed coins are minted. It is also not a double die but a doubled die. I see no 1941. John1

I'm not seeing any doubling on these. Can you point out what you think is doubled?

Anita, the famous 1970 /1941 quarter was an S mint proof, a 1970 quarter stamped on a Canadian 1941 quarter. Since there were no 1941 Canadian quarters supposed to be at the San Francisco mint anytime that decade, it had to be from a mint employee sneaking a Canadian quarter in and feeding it into the press, and so was a one off error, and an intentional error. Despite all the news stories telling everyone to look at their 1970 quarters for this error, no one else is ever going to find one.

I have 2 Questions. What would the Grade & Value be on this 1970-D Quarter? Does it have an error?

1970 D quarters are common enough that in anything less than MS-65 they are going to be worth a quarter. No notable error on it.

Social media is good about posting "click bait" stories to get views. They have half of the country looking for 1970 quarters, and many of them end up on ebay for outrageous prices, even though they are only worth 25 cents. Back in the 1970's and before, they had everyone searching for million dollar 1943 pennies. By the way, the US does not produce any pennies, they only mint "cents". There are some great coins out there waiting to be found, but the news and social media are not the places to learn what they are. Stick around here and you will learn what to look for and you will eventually find something valuable if you search enough coins.
