Was searching a BU roll of 1964P I have been saving for awhile on a slow night. I found this 1964 with a funny L in liberty. Checked Chucks site and found it right on the bat, I think. Looks to be a 1964P-1DO-002. But I should add, looks like doubling on the "IN". So it may not be a prefect match. What do you guys think?

Yup, that's it.

This die became the die that started 'class 8' in the die classification system. There was nothing before this die was reported that would properly describe a die that was rotated one direction or the other PLUS tilted so that it was only hubbed along an arc of the outside of the design. So, in effect, this die started the "tilted hub doubling" era. There have since been over a hundred different doubled dies given the same classification.

This die is also listed as CONECA 22-O-VIII

I would have never spotted this as a DDO the L in Liberty just looks like it has a die chip above it to me.

Good catch!! How many did you find in that roll?
