I am horrible at telling the difference. I know the serifs are more bulbous on type 2 and flatter top. Also I believe the serifs should touch the middle of the S. Can any of you tell what type this is. Sorry photos aren't the greatest. Thanks for any help.

Yea, I gave up on trying to tell the difference on these also...pictures all seem different and seems to be variants of both styles just way too difficult for me (and seemingly others)to nail down
