So I have this FEC that shows characteristics of the 1857 clash with the gold 20$ coin yet also shows minimal signs of a possible 58/7 like the nick above the 1858 (I can't see a 7 tip though). This is no scratch, it's some sort of error and I'd love some help! ^.^ Also, the reverse looks offset to me. Thanks on advance for any insight. -Steve

Could be a die crack. Coin looks heavily polished unfortunately, which takes away most of the value.

There is an 1857 FE clashed with $20 gold and this is not it. Sorry.

Understandable! Thanks guys. Cleaning is unfortunate :/ Just the way it wraps around by the "ca" in America made me think it could possibly be the chin of the 20$ with the lips slightly above. But that didn't even happen in 1858 so it must just be a die crack. But would a die crack show under letters/tail like that?
