I have been looking at this coin for 3 days now trying to VAM it.

I have finally decided on VAM-17. If this is a slanted date. If not it could be VAM-1 Closed 9.

The date position on yours looks set slightly farther left than V17. What do you think about V14?

I did look at VAM-14 and I am not seeing the doubling in the nose nor the metal "bump" in front of the nose. Just slight doubling inside(right side)the ear.

EDIT: DOH! I looked again tonight and while I cant see the doubling in the nose still. The "bump" in front of the nose is present. So I am going to say it is my bad eyes not seeing the doubling and call this one a VAM-14.

Thanks again Dave!!
