Possibly-French,-Possibly-Fake-Coin-1759-Please-Help

It is identical on both sides so far as I can tell, and it's in extremely good condition. I'm guessing it's not a genuine 1759 coin, but I know nothing about coins... Please help!

Thank you

Definitely not genuine.

It looks to be modelled on a French silver ecu, but those wouldn't have two "tails" sides.

For any two-headed coin, we generally call it a Magicians coin, lacking any further context. They are usually novelty items, or used for a magic trick. They can be made from genuine coins spliced together (I have one made from a 1973 and a 1996 nickel) or for more valuable ones, they are usually just struck copies. Yours looks like it is most likely copper-nickel or maybe pewter?

this looks to be a counting Jeton.
Sit Nomen domini benidectum
most likely means;
To be named the well designated Master

Can you post a picture of the other side please

After re-reading your post I see both sides are the same.

in my limited experience it is unusual for it to be the same on both sides.

I was expecting this to be in honor of Louis XVI fifth birthdayas he was born in 1754.

@zimmyis, first welcome to CCF! Second, yes seeing both sides would help (even if at first they look very similar). I agree with @finn and @tryna, that yours is not real. Here is what an actual Ecu of 1759 France would look like:
