Close AM. Note how the AME looks? The 'M' is off to the left on the Close AM. On the Wide AM, the 'M' is centered between the A & E.

Welcome to the Community Cory865!
Looks like the M took a hit in a pretty vital area, and the designers initials just a bit too blurry for me to make a designation. One tip when posting: -Always include the type/date of the coin in question.
-Always take photos of the full obverse and reverse, as well as a clear zoom of the area in question. Photographing can be challenging, but there is a whole section dedicated to it. Best of luck!

I am not convinced this is a clear enough photo to make a determination. For example, it looks to me like the A in STATES is midway between the 2 Ts. Wouldn't that indicate a Wide AM? I would like to see a photo of the entire reverse straight on. I would like to know the date, also.

Your correct Clyde. I didn't notice the bent leg on the 'M'.

Close initials means WAM, wide initials means CAM.
