There seems to be a white coloured 1974-D penny in this ebay listing.

Do you guys think it's an aluminum one, or a plated one?

I think it's the lighting. If you use a flash when you take pics, it can really affect how the coin presents itself in a photo. Also, if you look at the other "white" coins compared to the bronze ones, you can see the 74 D Lincoln is much closer to the bronze coins in tone.

Probably so, but the lack of any flash effect on the coin to the immediate right makes me wonder. But aluminum? I doubt it.
