IMO coin 2 is in better condition.

Assuming both of them are real (which is not necessarily true, but I'm not enough of an expert to figure it out properly), coin 2, obviously. How is that even a question?

Coin #2 is in better condition, but given the choice between the 2 I would prefer to have coin #1. For me I find more character in the portraits on coin 1. I much prefer the style of coin 1.
