Confused With Buffalo Nickel - Coin Community Forum

Umisely New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 09/15/2016 11:48 am I have a nickel the date is either 19_5 or 19_6 I m not sure. I seen a lot of posts about errors on those years but I'm not sure where or how to look for those errors. If I have the Indian face up and turn it over (left -right) is the buffalo suppose to be upside down? Anything would be helpful thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

If the Buffalo were right-side up it would be medal alignment. T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 09/15/2016 12:23 pm We really need photos of the coin to see what's going on . could be a bunch of different dates if your not sure of the last two numbers ,assuming the coin is worn . yes when you turn the Nickel from left to right the Buffalo will be upside down .
