I know that it is not much to look at, but it I am happy to have it in my collection. It is one of the "bow case and war club" reverse varieties. If it were in better condition, it would have cost more than $3.15 and I doubt I would have been able to pick it up.

It was either the coin or a fast food snack. :)

The coin for sure.

I am currently looking into this type myself, albeit a better, more-expensive example.

Not really a Greek collector, but I did want a couple for my collection. It would be nice if it were in better condition, but if it were, I doubt I would have purchased it.

Nice score.

Just try leaving a Slim Jim and a Slurpee to your heirs.

Valuable or not, this coin has been treasure now for over 2,000 years.

It will be much more appreciated than any Happy Meal you could have bought.

Buying an archaeological finding, a piece of human history which you can own, keep in your collection, hold in your hands as you wonder about other times and civilizations for only 3 bucks? You must be crazy my friend! :)

I have a local dealer that is very good to me. He is getting up there in years and his health is failing. He knows that I am not out to flip a profit off of the coins he sells (and sometimes gives me). I am grateful for his friendship.
