The coins from the 1950's wheat series were struck by vary worn dies. It left all kinds of different events that piled up on top of each other. Die crack, chips, breaks, over polishing and extreme die wear. If you are referring to the appearance of a doubled 55 on the date of your coin, it is just die wear, Some have called it 'the poor mans doubled die". But it is just die wear. When you the rest of the coin all the devices will show the same die wear because of the over use of the dies that should have been retired. Even BU coins look bad:

Note even the wheat lines are weak. (something graders use for determining grade on circulated coins) But they are 80-90 year old workers that should have been retired long ago. In a BU tubed roll of 50 coins, I found 19 in that tube that were from different dies. So they are common, but because of the big DDO that year, they were noticed and named. So if you only collected these for your collection to sell when you retired, you would be the 'poor man.'

Well I can obviously see the doubling on the real one! I just didn't know if this one would be considered a poor man's DD

They were using that term within months of the original DD discovery - it's been around that long!

The term was coined (pun intended) after the big DDO was found. All collectors were looking for the that die and other spotted this one. Some were buying them as a collectable, other realizing it was a die event that occurred on the later die states, knew better. But that term has been around for decades.
