Right, Morgan. They came out a a commercial gas dryer. I have a friend who own a number of laundry mats and he gets these out every once in a while. They get caught in the wings in the drum and are roll around the outer cage. The heat and friction make some interesting shapes.

Those are neat! I've seen coins worn smooth and with thick edges due to dryers but never melted like that.
