ok , not getting excited but is this a 1972 D LMC DDO ? ..hard for me to tell with the master die's out there....thanks for your opinions everybody ...

That one is one of the master die doubled example. A large percentage of these coins from all three mint looked just like yours.

coop , I was reading your post & thought cool at least I have a good reference now ...then I coasted down a little further & can't stop laughing about that jump in a hole video ..oh my, that was great, I have tears in my eyes ..that made my night, classic...thank you for that sir ....

Sometimes your the dog, other times you are the wheel. We all have out jumping for joys and our crash and burns. I like jumping for joy better. But at least you did find something of great joy. The master die doubled coins are doubled dies, but they are common as sand, so there is no premium for them.
